Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Deputy Ranch Foreman who is experienced, hardworking and dependable. The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• General ranch labor including equipment repair and general property/facilities maintenance
• Operate ranch equipment such as tractors, trucks, and trailers
• Assist with hay harvesting
• Assist with setup, management and breakdown of irrigation operations
• Support event setup and tear down for weddings and other private events
• Assist with groundskeeping, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks
• Other tasks as needed to support ranch operations

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ experience in general ranch labor or a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform maintenance tasks
• Communicate effectively with ranch management and staff
• Hardworking, punctual and self-motivated
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong physical ability, able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to pass a background check
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
